Before going freelance in 2013, I was a digital editor at Denver’s acclaimed 5280: The Denver Magazine, where I specialized in writing for the web and engaging our audience of nearly 50,000 Facebook fans and 75,000 Twitter followers on social media. I specialize in travel, food/wine/agriculture and sustainability reporting. In 2014, I was awarded my first fellowship, from the Association of Opinion Journalists.
My educational background is in television and radio broadcasting, and one day I want to make documentary films. In the meantime, I can offer video and other multimedia content to my outlets in addition to writing.
